Batrap Batrep: Dom. vs Com.
Some Goblins went out for a stroll
In dark of night for Moonstones whole
Led out by crazed old Shabbaroon
In promise of such great a boon
They wandered to a shallow water
“Halt!” cried Pete, the marching faltered
‘Cross the river, plain to see
A noble and his own party
“Oh dear!” they spat with quite surprise
‘Twas not to be an easy night...
Doug ran off into the stream
Digging for a rock he'd seen
While Daniel grabbed a nearby stone
And clutched it in his tatty robes
Portly’s work was almost stifled
He took a shot from Flintlock’s rifle
His armour rattled from head to toe
As Syd ran off towards their foes
The Baron marched on, "To the fray!"
With Eric and Natty keeping pace.
Syd stabbed and stabbed with vicious glee
‘Till him and Flint fell to their knees
While Doug then struck the boy with haste
Until the Baron took his place
And swatted out the way his shield
Forcing the pug-knight to yield
And Portly Pete, almost asleep
Grabbed two stones for him to keep
Tucked away, safe from Natty
The goblin mages rambled madly...
The mushrooms magic made mages wither
While armoured Pete gained his vigour
Accosted by von Fancy Hat
He guarded this and then blocked that
In better judgement, he retreated
Beaky Bobby healed his beatings
Dan, entranced by moonstone’s glow
Simply wandered to-and-fro
The youngsters simply wouldn't quit
They dashed up stream and made it quick!
Dozing again and caught off guard
Von Fancy Hat and Portly sparred
Beaky Bobby tried his best
To wake the goblin from his rest
Then Natty came in with a dagger
And Portly Pete began to stagger
Toppled over, moonstones spilled
The goblins fled, the folks were thrilled!
It was over, the night was won
And all dashed off with the light of sun.
(But what? Pete should not be defeated
Truth be told, dear Natty cheated...
In our excitement, we skipped reading
That little Natty was a weakling!)
